Congratulations to David Dunn*, Praneeth Chakravarthula*, Qian Dong, and Henry Fuchs* for winning in the 2018 DOID Student Optical Design Challenge for VR, AR, and MR at SPIE Photonics Europe in Strasbourg, France this week. They placed top in their division and 2nd overall in the competition.
Their project was titled Mitigating Vergence-Accommodation Conflict for Near-Eye Displays via Deformable Beamsplitters.
